Our story

Everyone asks why Armoire. The story isn’t particularly remarkable, but it is a little unexpected. 

 

By chance, a nickname, a shared set of skills on the tools and a healthy dose of humour came together to create the name Armoire, French for a cupboard, closet or wardrobe. We’ll leave you to guess which one of us earned the nickname “The French”.

And so, Armoire Group (AG) Ltd was born.

While the origins of our name might be a little tongue-in-cheek, what it represents is anything but. Armoire stands for unwavering quality, expertise and delivery, brought together by three individuals with decades of hands-on construction experience and a shared belief in one fundamental principle: trust is earned by delivering on your promises.

That belief underpins everything we do. From the first conversation to the final handover, we’re committed to doing things properly, standing behind our work and building relationships that last.

The name might have started by chance. The standards we stand for are no accident.
